1. Golden Temple

Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib, is the holiest shrine for Sikhs. It is located in Amritsar in the Indian state of Punjab and is the biggest attraction here. The entire city of Amritsar is settled around the Golden Temple.

The outer part of this gurudwara is made of gold, so it is also known as the Golden Temple, The Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru of Sikhs, had laid the foundation of Sri Harmandir Sahib. It is stated in some sources that Guruji had laid the foundation of this Gurudwara in December 1588 from Mian Mir, a Sufi saint of Lahore.

2. Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh is a small garden near the Golden Temple in Amritsar Wagah a village on the Grand Trunk Road between Amritsar, India, and Lahore, Pakistan, where the border between the two countries passes. It is the only land border crossing between India and Pakistan.

It is located at a distance of 32 km from Amritsar and 22 km from Lahore. Every evening The festival is a symbol of friendship between India and Pakistan. Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers are participating in the parade. The ceremony includes the playing of the national anthem, patriotic slogans, and cultural programs.

4. Lodhi Fort

Lodi Fort is a fort in the city of Ludhiana, Punjab, India. The fort is located on the banks of the Sutlej River and has a tunnel leading to the neighboring town of Phillaur. It was built 500 years ago during the reign of Sikandar Khan Lodi and was well maintained during the reign of Ranjit Singh and then the British, but then it fell into disrepair. It was declared a State Protected Monument in December 2013.

5. Shri Fatehgarh Sahib

Fatehgarh Sahib is a symbol of the faith and belief of Sikhs. This place situated in the north of Patiala is very important from the historical and religious point of view. Its significance for Sikhs is even greater in the sense that it was here that two sons of Guru Gobind Singh were made to sit alive in the wall by the then Faujdar of Sirhind, Wazir Khan.

Even today, people here celebrate his martyrdom day with full devotion. It will not be wrong if Fatehgarh Sahib district is called the city of Gurudwaras. 6. Gobindgarh Fort

  Gobindgarh Fort is a historic military fort located in the heart of the city of Amritsar in the Indian state of Punjab. This fort was built in 1700 AD or even earlier it was known as “Gujar Singh Fort” in the 1760s and 1770s when the rulers of Bhangi Misl were ruling here.

It is made of clay and was renamed in 1805 when Maharaja Ranjit Singh captured it along with five large cannons including Zamzama which was known as Bhangian Di Cannon and later became known as Kim Gun. Maharaja Ranjit Singh further strengthened this fort and named it “Gobind Garh” after the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh.

7. Anandpur Sahib

Anandpur Sahib is a historic city located in the Rupnagar district of the Indian state of Punjab. It is located near the Sutlej River in the foothills of the Shivalik Range. Anandpur Sahib is one of the holiest places in Sikhism. The last two Sikh Gurus, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, lived here and it was here that Guru Gobind Singh established the Khalsa Panth in 1699.
